Below is a comparison of the flowers of VFT cultivars that either I am growing or photos that others have graciously allowed me to use in this comparative display.
Note the 5 petals are more narrow than the typical VFT.

The flower below is from Laurent Duthion (permission granted). There are many all red clones. This particular flower is the only VFT flower that I have seen that has a red pistil and red veins in the petals. Normally, VFT petal veins are green or translucent.

None of the offspring resulting from this cross retained the red stigma of the "Petite Dragon" (small clone) pollen parent.

This particular small clone was originally received as a 'Red Dragon', but has consistently stayed a small plant and has produced small traps. I have about 30 divisions (clones) of this plant and every plant produces a scape that splits into a double. This is the only VFT clone that I have that does this consistently. Note the red stigma.

The small clone described above was selfed. All of the resulting offspring produce a scape that splits into a double and have an intense red stigma.

The flower below is from the "original" 'Red Dragon' clone received from Brad Adler that he had obtained from Exotic Gardens. This plant is much larger. The flower has a much lighter pink stigma than the "Petite Dragon" clone above.
