Utricularia pubescens (Sm.)

The plant above was received from Humboldt State University with the label Utricularia peltata. The ICPS database states that U. peltata is a synomyn of U. pubescens. The above photo of the plant was taken on 19 October 03; the photos of the flower above on 9 May 04 and of the flowers below on 29 May 04.

In May 2005, I received the plant below labeled U. nephrophylla. This plant flowered on May 17, 2006. Clearly, it is not U. nephrophylla, but is U. pubescens.
