This Utricularia inflata was received from Mike Howlett on 3 January 06. I tossed them in my catch-all 20-gal aquarium in my unheated greenhouse and generally forgot them. During summer 2006, I did not see any plants so I figured they never made it. The aquarium is under my benches and I seldom look at it. Occasionally I forget until I notice all the water but an inch or so has evaporated and then I fill it up again.
About a month ago, I noticed several plants growing among my Aldrovanda and U. gibba. Today the plants are in flower. The photo was taken on 2 October 07.
