Sarracenia 'Adrian Slack' (B.Hanrahan & B.Meyers-Rice)

 

Sarracenia 'Adrian Slack' is a hybrid that Bob Hanrahan found in the 1980s growing in the Milton area of western Florida. The exact parentage is unknown, but it clearly includes a mix of S. flava and S. leucophylla. Bob and Barry Rice submitted the cultivar name for registration on 28 March 2000. I received a plant from Barry Rice on 24 April 06. The two pitcher photos below are of Peter D'Amato's plant growing at California Carnivores on 16 June 05.
