This unique form of Pinguicula primuliflora was discovered in the backyard of a Japanese grower quite some years ago. It has become widespread in Japan, but so far not common in the U.S. It is easy to grow and flowers profusely, however it reportedly does not produce seed. The plant below was received from Barry Rice on 10 January 2008. The photos below were taken on 28 June 08.
